Simple steps to hear God
How to hear the voice of God, It's not as difficult as you think. A message from God that compares hearing him to making a cup of tea.

[Me, thinking] I've been messing around today, not really focusing and now I've come to my desk. I'd like to talk and I'm trying to stay open to it and..
Yes, if you don’t start to write it’s certainly harder for you to produce a message.
You’ve been trying to turn a dial in your head, to tune into the radio where we broadcast, but the dial is not in your head, but your heart. And you don’t need fingers to turn it, but imagination.
That’s not what you expected me to say, is it? Can it really be that simple — that you imagine you’re speaking to your guides in spirit, and it’s happening?
Let us talk about the power of your intention.
When you boil the kettle, it’s not outrageous to say that you plan to make a cup of tea.
You have a thought, you fancy a drink. You walk downstairs and fill the kettle, almost automatically, looking out of the window as you do so, or rehearsing a conversation in your head, or singing along to a tune you can’t shake.
First you imagine drinking the tea, and then you boil the kettle.
Once that’s done, there’s a few more steps like getting a clean mug and finding a tea bag, but you’re on your way to fulfilling the idea you had that your body was thirsty and you would deal with that by making it a warm drink.
Tuning into the spiritual realm for inspiration is not different than that.
The steps are that you have a thought that you’d like to get some message, and then you say a few prayers of protection and close your eyes. That is the act of walking downstairs and boiling the kettle.
You still don’t have a message, as you still don’t have anything to quench your thirst, but you’ve put the steps in motion.
And listening within your heart is the act of pouring the boiled water over the tea bag and letting it steep.
You, daring to open up a new document, not knowing if anything will come, is the act of waiting 3 minutes for the tea to brew.
And you sense it’s ready, remove the tea bag, and then nothing is stopping you from drinking and quenching your thirst.
Just as, having had the thought, prayed for protection, opened a document and started typing, nothing is stopping you from hearing whatever guidance you need from the spirits whose life it is to love and serve you.
We are here, and we never go away.
We are the ever-running tap, waiting to fill your kettle, heat you up a little and quench your spiritual thirst.
All you have to do is imagine a conversation with us, imagine the steps needed to make it happen, and then carry those steps out. There is no magical formula.
Tea isn’t only available to a select few. But it is only available to those who have bought tea bags in readiness for drinking it.
Your prayer, your spiritual study, your willingness to hear us, is your preparation.
Once you have done that, sitting down for 5 or 10 minutes of relaxation in our company, and chatting away as we are, is almost inevitable.
